7-8 Grade news

We will have many exciting things going on in our classroom this year!  Here are just a few things as we start our year:

During the first days of school, we will group up into our 2 math classes for the year: Pre-Algebra, & Algebra.  We hope to grow as mathematicians as we begin thinking more algebraically now.

We will be thinking like a scientist as we study Earth science this year.  We hope to learn more about the world that God created through inquiry and hands-on interactions.

We will also have a guest teacher this year every Friday.  Our guest teacher, Senor Morris, will guide us through our understanding of the Spanish language.

We will be beginning our first novel in reading class: Al Capone Does My Shirts.  We will also get our book report schedule for the year, start reading those books!

Our Word of God Classes will consist of: New Testament History on Monday, Wednesday, & Friday mornings.  We will dig into the 4 Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) as we learn more about the life of our Savior Jesus Christ.  Pastor will teach Catechism on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

As you can see we have so much to learn this year.  As always you can access grades and links for your textbooks and educational games on GradebookWizard.
