5-6 Grade news

The new school year is here already!

We are very excited to start in our new class.  This year we have 16 students in 5th and 6th grade.  Here are a few things that we will be participating:

September: Soccer, Volleyball, Forensics, and Spelling Bees begin on top of all the new adventures taking place in the classroom!  We will get to know each other as new classmates.

October: Terra Nova Testing begins and Grandparents' Day brings relatives from all over to school!

November:  Salem will participate in the West Lutheran High School Food Drive and gets an ice cream party!

December:  Our Christmas Eve service is always an important time for us to proclaim the love of our Savior and tell others about Jesus' birth!

If this is just the beging of the year, imagine what we will do in the second half!

School starts on August 30th!  See you then!
